A half day or full day course can help teachers and classroom assistants to tackle the problems of reading difficulty, and introduce new ways of encouraging reading and writing. Public and school librarians can learn new ways of encouraging children to read.

Course Content

Courses can be tailored to the individual needs of the school or library service. A half day course includes two different topics, a full day course includes three topics and a workshop.

Course workshop sessions involve participation in problem solving exercises using books in various formats including print, sound and video.
