Big Jim is certainly going to grow us some peppers, I just don't
know how big. |

Being a huge fan
of peppers of any description, I was given this plant as a present in
May 2008. It's called 'Big Jim' or BJ for short, as opposed to AJ, who
first introduced me to pepper growing in 2002. The Big Jim is the largest
chilli pepper, known to reach 30cm in length, but of fairly mild flavour.
I will be delighted if my plant produces anything near that and will
probably spend more time photographing than eating, drying, stuffing
or baking anything that grows from it! BJ currently resides on the a
south facing windowsill and is about 12cm high in the first photograph.
