Frugal Living - Growing Coriander

We love homemade carrot and coriander soup, so this was an obvious choice. I planted my first seeds of 2009 into pots on the kitchen windowsill on 2nd January. By the 16th, it had sprouted and by the 5th February, the 'real' leaves are appearing. I've had considerable success growing coriander, I can only think that it must be one of the easiest and most useful herbs to grow!

Left: 2008 - The seeds germinate indoors and then I transfer them to the outside windowsill.

Above: The leaves taking on their proper shape and the plants are clearly identifiable as Coriander.

16/02/09 - First of the coriander seeds, planted 02/01/09, break through the soil surface. 05/02/09 - the same coriander seeds beginning to spill out their original pot
