12/06/08 - I purchased
a cucumber plant from the local garden centre, so here's hoping you
don't need a minimum of two to get them growing! I've planted it in
a grow bag that already has two tomato plants in it. Then we'd to move
house and nothing ever came of the cucumber plant. So, I planted a few
seeds in May 2009.

- the nursery bought cucumber plant. Nothing ever came of it as
the slugs got there first |

- the home sown cucumber seedlings. I'm going to attempt outdoor
growing in a raised bed. |

The cucumber seedlings have been transplanted to growbags outside
of the greenhouse, along with tubs containing butternut squash. |
