There is one plum tree in the back garden but I never noticed it flower this year. I'm not sure if this means it's too old or in need of special attention. We didn't prune back any of the fruit trees at the start of the year but I will certainly take the time to find out more about this for next winter.

The 3 fruit trees - foreground is the plum tree, then the little apple tree, then the cherry tree.
