Having moved house
to a place with a smaller garden, I thought I'd best think about how
to fit in some form of pond to encourage the frogs & toads into
the garden to help deal with slugs and snails. But the polythene liner
used in the previous garden mini-pond won't do if there are ducks about,
so I've compromised. Rather than having a pond, we now have more of
a duck bath! It's made from a jumbo cat litter tray sunk into the ground
and surrounded by rocks and wood chips.

- This is as far as I have got with the miniature pond project,
loads still to do to disguise the plastic tub! |

I have only a few weeks left to complete the project because we
now have these cute little fellows! |

- The ducklings don't seem to mind that it's a tiny pond! |
