Frugal Living - Growing Radishes from Seed

I'm not even sure that I like radish all that much but they look 'nice' on a salad when there are visitors for lunch or summer BBQ. apart from that, they are cheap and easy to grow, so I will learn to love them as part of my frugal diet. So, without further ado, I took the plunge and planted a few seeds into a small pot by the back door on 25/02/09

15/03/09 - This is how the first of the radish seeds are looking 18 days after planting them.	25/04/09 - I've thinned out the plants so they have space to develop.
25/04/09 - A dozen radishes in a whellbarrow planter, thinned from the pot on the backdoor step.	25/04/09 - I have more radishes planted in 2 of the squares in the square foot garden.
25/04/09 - Our very first radish from the new garden. It took exactly 2 months to get from seed to plate.
