(Left) Soltero (Grey Dawn [Fr] x Single Flower by Nodouble) He won 3 races in the states and was a full brother to Single Dawn, who ran 5th in the Breeder's Cup Juvenile. He had another 1/2 brother by Halo, named Shonan World, who was a stakes winner in Japan. He's 20 years old now, 17 hands, doing pretty well.
(Right) Moren (Trade x Mortsie, by Recupere [Fr]) He ran from 3-9 in the states, winning 22 of 115 races. He sadly passed away 2 years ago at the age of 20.
My Sweet Amour (Committisize x Ella Mon Amour [GB], by Ela-Mana-Mou [Ire]) She was a half-sister to a UK Group 3 winner named Pulau Tioman and from a great family. She won a couple of races before being bred to a very nice tough racehorse named Smart Guy, but unfortunately she foaled early & both were lost.
Sanchi (IRE) b g Darshaan - Samara (Polish Patriot (USA))
Twice a winner for Godolphin and now adapting to some show jumping and a few cross country jumps. He also won his first dressage test.

Unsuccessful in 5 races on the flat but now enjoying life to the full
College Dean ch g College Chapel - Phyllode (Pharly (FR )
A winner at Hamilton in 1998, he now competes at many one day events and also British Eventing at BE100 level. He is very bold on the cross-country with many wins to his credit. He has adapted superbly to his new sport and has been a real pleasure for his owners.
Clewer b m Bahamian Bounty - Polisonne (Polish Precedent)
Placed twice on the flat from 11 career starts and last ran in 2008.
Classic Storm b m Belfort (FR) - Lady Tamara (Kenmare (FR))
A winner on 7 occasions and placed 3 times in only 13 career starts for Jack Berry in the early 1990's. Here she is at 19 years of age.
Indian Country ch g Indian Ridge - Arethusa (Primo Dominie)
Bred at the Highclere Stud and a winner and twice placed from only 6 starts on the flat. 'Ben' is now team chasing with the Racing Rejects, competing in ex racer and RoR classes at county level, three day eventing and enjoying sponsored rides .
Ice Rebel br g Robellino (USA) - Ice Chocolate (USA) (Icecapade(USA))
Twice a winner at Brighton (1993, 1994), now living happily in a permanent home in Hampshire.
Chingachgook b g Superlative - Petomania (Petong)
A winner at Lingfield in 1998, recently competed at The Pony Club Championships in Derbyshire and took part in the Intermediate Eventing.
CD Flyer ch g Grand Lodge (USA) - Pretext (Polish Precedent)
A winner 6 times on the flat in a career spanning 87 appearances. He now lives in Northumberland and has a quiet life hacking out and doing some local show jumping competitions.
Nod Ya Head ch m Minster Son - Little Mittens (Little Buskins)
Placed four times under national hunt rules in 2006.
Whistling Dancer ch g Whistling Deer - Geisha Dancer (Hul-A-Hul)
Ran twice under National Hunt rules, photographed with another ex-racer, Borufus.
Las Ramblas (IRE) b g Thatching - Raise A Warning (Warning)
Ran 56 times on the flat, recording a victory at Newmarket in 1999 and being placed on a further 8 occasions.
Astrac (IRE) b g Nordico (USA) Shirleen (Daring Display (USA))
Winner of seventeen races, including the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot in 1995, the Coral Sprint Cup at York, Wentworth listed stakes at Doncaster and the listed Prix Contessina in Paris. Astrac was the first racehorse in the 277 years since the first formbook was published to race at every one of Britains flat racecourses. He is now enjoying his retirement hacking in Warwickshire.
Espada b g Mukaddamah (USA) - Folk Song (CAN) (The Minstrel (CAN))
Espada won 9 of his 61 races on the flat including victories in hugely competitive handicaps at Kempton, Ayr and Chester. He is still extemely active and happy, doesn't like being out on his own, other than that, no vices, just full of fun. A great Thoroughbred.
Kashan b g Darshaan - Kamanika (FR) (Amber Rama (USA))
A winner on the flat in France, Kashan was transferred to Nicky Henderson's stable and was one-time Triumph Hurdle favourite. He won twice and was placed eight times having competed on the flat, over hurdles and fences.
Bank View ch g Crofter (USA) - Stony Ground (Relko)
Bank View was a winner on the flat and a star over hurdles where his thirteen career wins included a victory over Champion Hurdle winner Kribensis at Haydock in 1992. He is pictured at home in Yorkshire.
Golden Lantern b g Smartset - Swanee Mistress (My Swanee)
Golden Lantern had one victory (Exeter 1990) and was twice runner up under National Hunt rules. At the age of 24 he is now enjoying success in the show ring.
Cyrill Henry b g Mister Majestic - Stamina (Star Appeal)
Cyrill Henry was a game and consistent racehorse winning 4 times and being placed 17 times under National Hunt rules. I used to watch him race at Plumpton and featured him in one of my paintings so it was great to hear that he is still enjoying himself at the age of 17 down in Cornwall.
Dads Lad b g Supreme Leader - Furryvale (Furry Glen)
Three times a winner under national hunt rules including at Ascot in 2004. Now enjoying life at a slower pace in Bristol and hopefully will be appearing at local shows later in 2008.
Bollin Edward b g Timeless Times (USA) - Bollin Harriet (Lochnager)
Won four times on the flat and was placed on eleven occasions. He is pictured at the Tockwith Show 2008.
Forzaisle b g Forzando - Broom Isle (Damister)
He only raced once under rules when ridden by champion jockey Tony McCoy in 2006. Now adapting to his new life.
Fight Your Corner b g Muhtarram - Dame Ashfield (Grundy)
A high class performer on the flat winning 6 races including the Group 2 Chester Vase as a 3 year old which meant he was supplemented for the Derby in which he finished a respectable fifth. He was purchased by Godolphin and trained for the stop staying races including the Ascot Gold Cup and the Melbourne Cup but a tendon injury ended his campaign in 2005. He is pictured above enjoying his first dressage outing at his new home in Cambridgeshire and will be learning to jump and hopefully go eventing.

Jim Jam Joey ch g Big Sink Hope (USA) - Ascot Princess (Prince Hansel)
Jim Jam Joey won 3 times and was placed 12 times under National Hunt rules in his 30 race career. He retired in 2005.
Material World b m Karinga Bay - Material Girl (Busted)
Material World won 5 times over hurdles and was placed in all but four of her 19 appearances. She was retired earlier this year after the Cheltenham Festival and is now in foal to Kayf Tara. She became so popular that she has her own website and fans can keep up to date with the latest news on Material World here

Ran 20 times under flat and national hunt rules managing 4th place at Ripon and Catterick and now enjoying his new career

Rescued mare believed to have raced, possibly under the name of Mistique Doon in the 1980's (as yet, unconfirmed)
Shalaal (USA) b g Sheikh Albadou - One Fine Day (USA) (Quadratic (USA))
Won five times under rules between 1996 and 2004. This included a hat-trick of wins over hurdles in 2000. A popular horse on the northern racing circuit and now enjoying his well earned retirement in West Yorkshire.
Cadmus (IRE) ch g Shalford (IRE) - Candle Hill (Sallust)
Raced 11 times under rules in 1999. He has just turned 12 and has a quiet life hacking and schooling in West Yorkshire and will hopefully be attending some local shows this year.
The Count (FR) b g Sillery (USA) - Dear Countess(FR) (Fabulous Dancer (USA))
Fairly decent racehorse showing promise in the early stages of his career but he fell out of love with racing and was retired at the age of 7 by the syndicate that owned him as he was becoming 'difficult' in his behaviour. He is now in Scotland enjoying his new career doing Ex Racers Club events. He was the 2006 Ex Racers Club in hand champion, and he is also to be used by Top Spec in their profiles of horses benefiting from their products.
Glamgram's Best b g Taufan - Coshlea (Red Alert)
Twice a winner as a two year old, Glamgram's Best (now known as 'Raffi' and show jumping as 'Art of Music') was bought at Ascot sales in 1994 after winning at point-to-point. He is still going strong at 23 and has proved a perfect partner for his proud owner.
Skippers Cleuch (IRE) b g Be My Native (USA) - Cloughoola Lady (Black Minstrel)
Winner of 10 out of 18 starts over hurdles and fences between 2000-2005 for Len Lungo. This much-loved, one time stable star still resides in the Dumfriesshire countryside but is more likely to be seen on a cross country course or showjumping ring.
Mickley (IRE) b g Ezzoud - Dawsha (Slip Anchor)
A winner of 8 races under rules and placed 11 times. Now enjoying life in Sussex.
Desert Moss b g Le Moss - Super Gambler (Lighter)
Raced at Aintree in 2002 but now a show horse and qualified for Hickstead.
Respectable Jones ch g Tina's Pet - Jonesee (Dublin Taxi)
The winner of 16 races, he is now enjoying life relaxing out in the field, hacking & taking part in TB, ex-racer & veteran show classes.
Gentle Buck (IRE) ch g Buckskin(FR) - Announcement (Laurence O)
A winner four times in Ireland and now enjoying life hunting over the south downs.
Johayro ch g Clantime - Arroganza (Crofthall)
Won 12 races in his career and a very popular sprinter in Scotland and the north of England. He is now enjoying life in Guernsey with his new friend Piccled.
Piccled b g Piccolo - Creme de Menthe (IRE) (Green Desert)
Piccled won 8 races over 5 furlongs including five at Southwell and competitive sprints at York and Doncaster.
Prince of India b g Night Shift (USA) - Indian Queen (Electric)
Prince of India is out of Gold Cup winning mare Indian Queen who was actually in foal with "Indi" when she won at Ascot. He was no mean performer himself, winning 3 times and racing against Group 1 performers including Pennekamp and Pentire.
Pagan Ceremony ch g Rahy (USA) - Delightful Linda (USA) (Slew O' Gold (USA))
Ran eight times without success under rules but now enjoying a new life showing, hacking, dressage and show jumping in Lincolnshire with his devoted owner Rachel Copping.
Master of the Rock b g Alzao (USA) - Come True (FR) (Nasram)
Won ten races under National Hunt rules including a winning sequence of four in 1995-96 season. "Rockie" is currently a hack in Lincolnshire with plans for some veteran and ex-racer showing.
Aveiro b g Darshaan - Avila
Raced 74 times on the flat turf, all weather and over hurdles winning 9 times. Now enjoying a life of hacking, cross country, showjumping and even a bit of dressage in derbyshire
Bell Amica g f Weet-a-minute - Capponicus
Raced once - unplaced. Now progressing well with her retraining and is showing much promise in all disciplines.
Waterford Spirit ch g Shalford (IRE) - Rebecca's Girl (IRE) (Nashamaa)
A winner twice on the flat and runner-up on six occasions

Raced on the turf and all-weather between 2000 and 2004 including 3rd at Nottingham and 4th at Catterick on her debut

Five Castles ch m - Carlingford Castle - Royal Pocket (True Song)
Trained to race point-to-point but never actually raced. She is now doing a bit of everything; showing, xc, show jumping and generally enjoying a nice peaceful life in Nottingham.
Ellie's Boy b g - Owington - Trojan Crown (Trojan Fen)
Once in training with Rae Guest and ran twice in point-to-point's before breaking down. Now very much enjoying life in Wales.
