Redie Hitman
by Anna Price (Started 18th August, some years back)
Blurb
There has been a murder in Savie High; Cici Redie was shot on campus. The murderer thinks they've got away with it, until Sally Adams steps in. She is determined to find the murderer, even if it kills her....
The Hitman can sure help her with that!
MURDER ON CAMPUS!!!
It was just another day in Savie High School, the same corridors, the same teachers and the same popular people. I, Sally Adams, was not a popular person, unlike Cici Redie and Liz Arnold, they get all the cute boys and latest gear. If only my parents were rich and I was popular. Oh well, at least I have my friends. Lezley Smith is my best friend, she is really cool, the only thing is she has a MAJOR crush on Rick Cumberland, who just happens to be Cici Redie's boyfriend. Sorry Lez, but you've no chance against Cici!
"Yo Sal, you day dreaming in class again?" Lez said to me, we were both in maths, our fifth class of the day. "You're making a habit of this," Lez said, laughing. "So, what do you expect? We're in maths, you're lucky I never fell asleep!" I replied. That started her laughing again and before she could answer me, the bell rang. I had a free period but, unfortunately, Lez had chemistry. I headed for the common room, where all the senior pupils hang out in their free time.
In the common room Cici Redie, Liz Arnold, Alan McKenzie and Rick Cumberland were all huddled in a corner laughing and joking with one another. Alan had his arm around Liz. In case you are wondering who Alan McKenzie is, he's Rick's best mate. Later on, Rick, Alan and Liz left Cici there to go to the vending machines. I decided to leave as well, as I was bored reading my book. I was about half-way down the corridor when I heard a loud gunshot then a scream coming from the common room. I ran back down the corridor and burst through the common room door to find Cici lying on the floor, blood pouring out her chest. I screamed in shocked horror, and then Rick, Alan and Liz came running in, Liz screamed, Alan ran for help and Rick ran to phone the police and an ambulance. I'd never seen two boys run faster in my life! I knelt down beside Cici and checked for herpulse........ but there was none!
Liz asked in a quiver "Is she dead?" I looked at her and nodded, she then began crying. Pretty soon the common room was swamped with paramedics, police, teachers and curious teenagers. As the police drew round Cici's body with chalk I began to cry, I had never known a person that's died before. After the police had asked a few questions and had a look around for clues, Cici was carried away in a body bag. Everyone eventually cleared off, but I stayed, that's when I decided I had to find out who murdered Cici, even if it kills me.
I began searching for clues, just in case the police had missed anything. But after about half an hour I was about to give up searching, as the home-time bell had gone ages ago and my mum was probably wondering where I was. I then noticed a piece of cardboard lying on the corner of the window-sill. Picking it up and turning it over, I read the words, " All in a days work, from The Hitman." Mabye I should take it to the police? Nah, better not, it could mean anything.
Sinister Mind
No one will suspect me for Cici's murder, pity I wasn't there to see it. She was getting dangerous, anyhow. Even if my dad hadn't hired The Hitman, no one would have suspected me. I just act like everyone else, even though I'm secretly laughing. If Cici hadn't put her nose in she wouldn't be dead right now, would she? Imagine if she had time to go to the police, my father and I would have been ruined! She acted normal with me when she was with anyone, but when she got me alone she threatened to go to the police if my father and I didn't shut down our business. Hah, right then! I told her right from the start there was no way on Earth we would shut it down. Then out of the blue The Hitman's business card and phone number got posted through our door offering various 'services' to deal with 'pests'. Maybe we'll use The Hitman again 'coz' he's good, he never even left clues for the police, well, apart from the card, but how will that help the police? I don't even think the police noticed it. Luck's definitely on my side.
Locker Search
Another day, another chance to gather evidence and clues, well, in my free periods and breaks, but still. At lunchtime, I think I will search Cici's locker in case there's any important evidence relating to who might have killed her. Oh joy, I just remembered! I've got maths first period. At least I get to sit next to Lez. I'm gonna have to tell her about Cici's death. I wonder how she will react? Oh wait, here she comes now. "Hi Sal, hows ya doin'?" "Not very well, have you heard the news?" Lez looked at me puzzled. "What news?" she replied. "Cici Redie got shot yesterday in the common room." "Huh? Are you having me on? The whole school would have known by now and that includes me," she said sceptically. "No, it's true, I was there when the police and ambulance arrived." She looked distraught. "That's terrible! Why would somebody do such a thing to Cici?" She was close to tears. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out," I told he,r with sympathy in my voice. "You mean your gonna investigate her murder?" she said with alarm in her voice. "Yes, I have already started, look, I found this card after she was murdered." I showed her the 'All in a days work from The Hitman' card. "Shouldn't you give that to the police? Plus if someone shot her that person could well shoot you if they knew you were looking for them!" she said with extreme seriousness in her voice. "I'll be careful, I promise. "Before she could say another word the bell rang for first period.
I never had time to search Cici's locker at lunch time as Lez kept on at me about how dangerous my 'investigation' was. My next period (which is my last one of the day) was a free one, so I could do whatever I want. I'll go check Cici's locker then. This class is soooo boring. Oh well, there's only another five minutes of it left. BRRRIIIING! Finally the bell, now I can go look for Cici's locker. Down the corridor, turn left, turn right, hurray! I've finally got to my locker, I'll just shove all my books in there. Now, Cici's locker. Hers is right, one, two, three, four, five. There, found it. Now to wedge my bank card in the lock and click! Voila! One open locker. There's nothing in here exept for books and the odd piece of jewellery or lipstick. Wait, what was that? Huh? Why would Cici need Lezleys mobile number? I mean, I've never even seen Cici look at Lez never mind phoning her! Mmm, strange, I'll ask her about it later. Actually, where was Lez? Oh yeah, in the common room, I'll go see her now.
The common room sure is busy, mostly with the pops. Lez was in the midst of the group talking to Lisa Leymoor, Margaret Wilson, Debbie Moor and Todd Nicholl. They were all pops, actually, all the pops were in the common room. Anne Dole, Sam Duff, Dave Nelson, Alicia Scaggs, Vince Marsh, Tam Wilks and Simone Reggie. All in a big group with Lez in the middle of it. I called her over. " Lez, come here." She eventually came over. "What's up? Did you find anything in Cici's locker?" she asked. " Yeagh, I did, your mobile number," I said, somewhat questiongly. "Oh, is that it?" she replied calmly as if it didn't mean anything. "Well, why would Cici need your number?" " We were doing a project together in biology, she phoned me for some notes. Why, what did you think Detective Adams?" she said a bit huffily. " Detective Adams suspects everything and everybody," I said in a fake, policeman's voice. " I'm innocent officer, I really am," she pleaded jokingly. "I think I have a severe case of paranoia," I said. We then both started laughing.
Alicia Scaggs and Simone Reggie came over, being nosey as usual. They were demanding to know what we were laughing at. "Nothing office,r" I told her, that started Lez and I laughing again. "How can you two be laughing at a time like this?" Alicia Scaggs whined. "Sorry, we didn't mean it," I told her, once we both stopped laughing. BRRRIIING! Home-time, at last. So much for finding clues, I suppose I can always try tommorow.
Evil Eyes
Sugar, he saw me with some of my father's 'merchandise'. He keeps going on at me about how bad it is for my health. Well duh! He thinks it was mine but I was only going to deliver them to one of my father's customers after school. I should have been more careful. He keeps watching me, I tried to tell him it was something else but he wouldn't believe me. I wish he'd get off my back! I know, I'll give The Hitman a ring. I'll tell him to arrange an accident, just a broken leg, so he doesn't need to come to school and hassle me.Yes, now where's The Hitmans number?......
Rick's Accident
For first period Lez and I had computing; ten minutes after the bell who would come hobbling in but Rick! He was on crutches and there was a big plaster cast on his right leg. Poor Rick! First his girlfriend gets murdered and now he gets a broken leg, what more can go wrong for him?!! I couldn't ask him what happened just now, considering he's at the opposite end of the classroom. I had a free period next so I hoped upon hope to be able to see him then, so I could ask him what happenend. Forty-five minutes later the bell went. Rick got out five minutes early since he had crutches, so I had to drag Lez along the corridor while I tried to catch up with Rick. Lez kept saying,"slow down, where are we going?" I just said, "Rick". When I eventually managed to get him he was with all the other pops. I was puffed out and had to sit down. Rick just stood there and stared wondering why I had hurried up to him. I eventually managed to puff out, "what happened to your leg?" He explained how he had slipped down the stairs and landed on his right leg, he then asked why I was asking, I told him all I knew about Cici's death. He took it all in and agreed with everything I said. "Do you know anyone who would want to hurt Cici or doesn't like her?" I asked. "No, I don't even know anybody who dislikes her, who would want to hurt her!" Rick said sadly. He then added, "I think in your next class you should announce you are investigating Cici's death and if anyone has any information to come forward." "I agree, I'm in maths next," I said.
"I am investigating Cici Redie's death, if anyone has information please contact me," I told the class before Mr.Fitz came into the classroom. "Isn't this a matter for the police?" Anne Dole pointed out, rather snobbily. "Yes but I'm helping the police," I answered back. Well, I was, sort of. The excuse must have worked because Anne never answered back. Todd Nicholl then said, "That could be dangerous, someone shot Cici so someone could shoot you as well, it could even be the person you least suspect." Huh? That was a seriously weird and spooky thing for Todd to say. The rest of the day passed with nothing exciting happening. But I do have my suspicions about Rick's 'accident'. Rick knew Cici very well, if Cici was targeted for murder by The Hitman, Rick might be too. Maybe the broken leg was just a warning. What if the stair-pushing was an attempt to kill Rick, what if The Hitman tries to kill Rick a second time and succeeds? I don't want to think about it anymore!!!
Nosey!
That Sally Adams could be dangerous, if she discovers of my father and i our business is a goner. I've known her for six years and I've noticed she is very clever. In class she announced she vas investigating Cici's death. I'll need to deal with her discreetly. I guess I'll have to call The Hitman again. I'll get him to give her a couple of threats and maybe follow her from school just to give her a scare. I don't want to kill another person. This Hitman stuff if costing me a fortune. It's fifty quid just for one threat! Well, my father said when I run out of money to go to him. Oh well, at least I can laugh about something, that smack-head who thought he knew better. Pah!
Sal's Hitman Horror
When I arrived at school I found a piece of card wedged into the locker between the lock and the frame, I took it out and it read
'The Hitman says Stay off the case or face the consequences'.
Uh oh! Got myself into trouble, but I won't be scared that easily, I tucked the card into my bag. When I opened my locker and took out my books I found another card reading,
'I'll be watching you until you back off the case, from The Hitman'
After reading this note I looked around me trying to see anyone that was watching me, I found no one. The first couple of periods were uneventful.
At lunch my mobile phone rang, I answered it to hear a raspy voice sa,y "Sally, I'm watching you, keep off the case or face the consequences, I'll keep watching you until you give up your little detective game." "Who is this?" I stuttered. The raspy voice replied "Who else? It's The Hitman." Then..... silence, The Hitman had hung up. I quickly pushed 1471 and listened, but The Hitman, as expected, had with-held his number. What a crafty thing to do. I must have looked frightened 'coz Lez asked what was wrong. "I think The Hitman's fallen out with me," I said shakily. "Huh? What do you mean?" Lez asked with a dash of fear in her voice. "This morning he left me some cards in my locker, now that was him on my phone, he says he'll be watching me until I back off the case," I said, holding the cards out for her to see. "Are you going to back off?" she asked. "Well, put it this way, do I like brussel sprouts?!!" Lez then looked alarmed, "have you got a death wish? Look what The Hitman did to Cici!" "Don't worry, I'll be okay," I said reassuringly, well at least I hope I will.
I'm on my way to Hillary's (the clothes shop I work in after school) and I have the feeling I'm being followed. Am I being paranoid or is The Hitman really watching me? My mind boggles.
Finally, I can go to my own safe home, I still have the feeling I'm being watched. Down Main Street, turn right, up Green Grove, turn left, up 1,2,3 doors and turn left again and you're in my house. "Hello, mum? Dad?" I take it no ones in. What was that noise? It came from the living room. Down the hall, turn right. I don't remember leaving the window open. What's that on the glass coffee table? It's a bullet! An actual bullet from a real gun! There's a note attached to it, it says, 'If you don't back off the case this could be the bullet used on you! From The Hitman'. I think this means I could be in danger, I best not tell my parents or teachers, I'll just have to tell Lez. At school I'll tell everybody about it only I'll say I'm gonna back off the case, just in case I'm in real danger. That just means I'm going to have to be more discreet when investigating. Maybe The Hitman will stop watching me if I tell everybody that. I now know he was definitely following me, or else how would he know where I live? This case is getting more dangerous and I'm nowhere near getting this case wrapped up. Oh well, there's always tomorrow, I hope!
Today I told everybody that I'm backing off the case, I only told Lez the truth, and, of course, she was fretting. The 'lie' seemed to have worked as there was no sign of The Hitman. Tomorrow after school I'm going to the library and check out the police records for anyone named 'The Hitman'.
Hint Taken
Lucky for Sally she backed off, she announced it today in class, after getting various death threats. The Hitman does a good job even though he's extortionate. If I need to hire him again I'll scream! I'll have no money left. If I do need to hire him again dad's going to be paying him. I've never actually met him, I've only ever spoken to him on the phone. I wonder what he looks like? He must be stinking rich for the fees he charges! Yeah, stinking rich like my father. I've got to deliver some stuff tonight, so I'll soon be up in cash again. If I didn't deliver stuff for my father I'd have no money. My father isn't that generous, he only gives me 20%, but that's at least a hundred quid a time.
The Hitmans History
I've never really noticed before how quiet the library is , it's deadly silent. All I can hear is the librarian tapping the keys on her computer. The library was empty, well, apart from the librarian and I. It was quite eerie as I was used to seeing the library full of people, but even when the library's full it is quiet. It was probably quiet because the school's aren't out yet. I got special permission from one of my teachers to leave school at 1pm. I forged a note saying I had to go to the orthodontist. I had to make up an excuse, or else I wouldn't have been allowed out school. I'm here to find out about The Hitman. First I'll check out the library's books, then I'll check the police records, if I can get into them.
I've been in here for a whole hour searching book upon book, and still not found anything! I need to find something about The Hitman, even a tiny bit of info might help me with the case. I'm as well starting the computer search. How much is it to use the computers I wonder? I think it's £1.50 an hour. "Excuse me, could I use the computer, Mrs. Larky?" I asked in my most polite voice. " Sure dear, for how long?" Mrs Larky asked. "Erm.........an hour will do," I replied smiling. "That'll be £1.50 please," Mrs Larky said. I handed her the money then went to a computer. I needed to go onto the internet as I doubt the library resource files will have anything on The Hitman. I'm surprised the library didn't use a password for access to the internet, anyone could get on. Now, let's try and get onto the criminal records site. Nope, need a password. I'll try websites then, it would be easier than hacking into the police records, plus, this way is legal. Now, I'll put 'The Hitman' into the search engines. Yes, success! WWW.thehitman.com. What do I want to see? Hitman history, Hitman services, Hitman targets, Hitman victims or Hitman contact numbers. Mmmm, Hitman history first. It reads:
'I started my buisness as The Hitman in 1989, people come to me if they want someone killed or threatend. After a job I leave my card at the scene of the crime. I hide it well so it's hard for police to find it. If you want to know more on what services I can provide, go to Hitman services. To find out prices, go to Hitman contact numbers. if you want to hire me you must take the following steps . First you must advertise in the Moss news for a gold owl, then you must leave your name and phone number on the advert. Then I will contact you. If you are one of the few people I knew who needed a hitman, I will have come to you. I have no side - kicks or associates, I am a one man buisness. IF I AM PAID TO KILL OR THREATEN SOMEONE AND YOU GET CAUGHT, YOU MUST NOT REPORT ME TO ANYONE! IF YOU DO, YOU MUST PAY A SERIOUS PRICE! May I add, no one I repeat, no one, knows my identity, you will never meet me in person, for safety measures. I will talk to you on the phone though, so we can arrange a deal.' How this was meant to be The Hitman's history, I don't know. It was more of a warning to The Hitman's clients than anything else. Oh well, best print off this page before I move on to the next one. I'd best ask Mrs. Larky for another hour as that's been half an hour already. "Mrs Larky, here's another £1.50, I need the computer for another hour." She took the money. It was strange how Mrs Larky wasn't asking questions about why I wasn't at school. Whatever, it's just as well I suppose. Now on to Hitman Services. It says:
SERVICE PRICE
murder $1000 (per hour)
threat $50 (per threat)
accident $500
The Hitman is very discreet, not once been caught. It is very near impossible to see him while doing a 'hit'. However, he does leave a card with his name on it at the scene of the crime. The police have always been baffled by his cards.' Sheesh! He's sure giving himself loadsa compliments ain't he? Bighead!!! This isn't helping! I'll move onto Hitman Victims. Oh my goodness! There's that big a list there's a search engine! I'll type in C-i-c-i R-e-d-i-e. She's here! Cici Redie, 25th August 2000. That was the day she was murdered. I wonder if there has been any other murders in Savietown. There has been quite a few. Robert Grace was the unfortunate victim before Cici. Gees, he was killed on Christmas day of 1999. The person who hired The Hitman for the murder of Robert Grace must be pure evil! I'll move onto Hitman Targets before I puke. The Hitman has me on the list of targets! He also has Rick Cumberland! We are The Hitman's future targets! Oh no, what have I gotten myself into? I think I'll go to Hitman Contacts. I know, I could contact him claiming I want someone killed and try and catch him, but have the police there in waiting, obviously. What a horrible idea! To even think of paying someone to kill another person is a rancid, evil, twisted idea. Anyone who's hired The Hitman must be an ogre!
The Hitman contact page says 'If you had read all my web pages you would know how to contact me, The Hitman'. Oh yeah, The Hitman has already told us how to contact him. I'm assuming The Hitman is a man because of 'his' title. I'd best leave now in case I vomit over the computer. The thought of having someone want you dead is sickening. I wonder how Lez will react at school tomorrow?
Suspects
"Hi Lez!" I said cheerily. It's 8.45am (just before bell). "How'd the search go last night?" asked Lez rather suspiciously. "I found The Hitman's website," I replied without emotion. "Well!!! Anything to be worried about?" she demanded. "Apart from Rick and I being on The Hitmans target list, no." Lez gave a gasp. "Sally! Aren't you worried? You should leave this to the police. I mean you could be killed! So could Rick!" she said in a frenzy. She was turning a strange colour of pink. "Calm the beans. It was just a threat, anyhow I'm not worried so neither should you be!" I replied haughtily. "Sally, you're some girl, you belong in an instituite. Oh, have you heard?" she said with seriousness in her voice. "Heard what?" I was bewildered as she now sounded serious. "Cici's funeral is today at 4.30pm. You might be able to catch some evidence if you go". "I'd have gone anyhow, I'm not that mean!" I said in a jokey manner.
6pm Cici's funeral (after the ceremony, at the after-party). Not a pretty site. Everyone has down faces, not that I blame them. Well, you aren't meant to dance at a funeral are you? All the pops are here, even ignorant, jealous of Cici, Alicia Scaggs. Want to know what just hit me? Alica has a motive for Cici's death. Jealousy. She has always been in love with Rick. I know this because she asked him out before he was going with Cici, he refused because he had his heart set on one girl, Cici Redie. Mmm, no evidence to prove my theory though, but I'll keep her in mind. Hey! What's that on the floor? It's a piece of paper. It has The Hitman written on it and, a phone number! I'll put it in my bag and look at it later.
"Hi Sally. This is depressing, isn't it?" Alan McKenzie said to me quietly, his face was low too. Along with him came Alicia Scaggs. She never said a word. In actual fact Alicia never ever said a word to me, mind you, she wouldn't speak to anyone unless they were in the 'right' crowd. I nodded in reply. I've just noticed, Alan is quite cute. Pity, as I've no chance with him. Oh well! I fluttered my eyelashes at him. Alicia just stood there drawing me dirty looks. I tell you, if looks could kill, I'd be dead right now.
Lost Property
Oh no! I've lost The Hitman's number at the funeral. What if Sally Adams finds it? I'll need to get it back. Oh, what's the use? I'll get caught in the end. I'm sure of that. The guilt is welling up, and The Hitman is threatening me as I've not paid him. Life would be easier if I had nothing to do with my father's scheme. I could give myself up, then my father would be caught. Life is a bummer! Just this morning I found another death threat in my locker. It says if I don't pay The Hitman by Friday then I will be lying in my grave next to Cici Redie. I think I should have a talk with Sally. I really need to tell her, if I don't then I will end up dead, like Cici. Oh, my greed and my father made me kill one of my closest friends! I'm going to go crazy, or am I already crazy? I killed one of my best friends for money, so I must be a wacked-out crazyman, just like The Hitman.
The Hitman strikes again
Great, just great! Alan McKenzie has just gone and 'fallen' down the school stairs again. I was watching him. He is now being rushed to hospital with a possible broken leg. I'd best start looking for a Hitman note. Yep, I was right. Lying on the stair is a bit of card. It says:'This is only a warning Mr.McKenzie, next time it could be your death. Pay me now or be with Cici. The Hitman'. All this on a Friday morning, this can't be a good omen. My own sarcasm heard and noted. This note is a bit weird, what does The Hitman mean by 'pay me now' and how does he know Alan's second name? This mystery seems to be getting stranger by the minute. I'd better go find Lez and tell her the oh so joyful news! Not! Well I mean I will go tell Lez, but it isn't joyful news if you know what I mean? Oh, never mind.
You'd never guess what. I've just found a note from Alan McKenzie in my locker. He says that as soon as I get home from school I've to go see him. I guess I'll have to go to the hospital. I'd better phone mum first and tell her where I'm going.
At the hospital, but lost. Best ask someone for directions. I don't even have a clue which ward Alan is in or anything. I wonder what it's about? Maybe he has some info. on how he 'fell' down the stairs. If my suspicions are right it was The Hitman, but I was there when Alan 'fell' and I never saw anyone push him. Mind you, The Hitman is a pro, it said so on his site. After all, he did manage to kill Cici Redie without being seen, and that was with a gun in broad daylight! Finally! The reception desk. "Erm, excuse me. Could you please tell me where Alan McKenzie's room is please?" I asked the receptionist. She was a tall, thin woman with a pointy nose and glasses. "Who are you looking for again?" she replied in a high-pitched, squeaky voice."McKenzie, Alan McKenzie." "Room 331, ward 7. Up the hall and turn left," she squeaked.
Alan's secret
Finally! I've found Alan's room. "Hi Alan. Here's a prezzie, it's only candy but at least it's something. It's better than hospital food any.........Alan?" I rushed. Alan looked real worried about something. "Hi, erm....thanks for the candy," Alan replied quietly. He looks really worried. "What's wrong Alan? Are you not feeling well?" I asked sympathetically. "Sally, I have something to tell you, it's really important," Alan said in a whisper. "Well?" I prompted. "See how there has been a lot of weird things happening at school lately, you know Cici, Rick, you?" Alan whispered. "Yeah, what of it? Have you any evidence as to who it might be?" I asked hopefully. "It's me, well not me but The Hitman. He's this guy you hire to kill people or he can give them threats. I payed him to kill Cici. I payed him to push Rick down the stairs and I told him to give you some threats. Only now he's trying to kill me because I never paid him, this stair-pushing was just a warning," Alan stuttered out. He was nearly in tears. "But why Alan? Why?" I cried. "Because I'm greedy, I'm greedy for money. It's because of this drugs scheme my father and I have. I deliver them and my father supplies them. Cici found out and threatened to go to the police, that's when I found The Hitman. When Rick saw me with drugs I needed to do something with him, so I got The Hitman. Then you announced you were investigating her death I had to do something about you, so The Hitman got that job too. Now I can't pay him for it and now he's after me!" Alan cried, now in tears. "How did The Hitman manage to do this and not get seen? And where does he live and who is he?" I demanded, a bit shaky myself. "I don't know! I've never met him, only spoken to him on the phone," Alan replied in a shaky whisper. "Sorry, I really am! I'm going crazy aren't I?" Alan said somehow much calmer. "You're not crazy Alan, but I think you will spend a lot of time in prison - with your father. Don't worry, I'll try and catch The Hitman," I said in an icy cool voice. "Please leave me now," Alan said. With that I left.
The next day
"Sal, are you OK? You look dreadful!" Lez said to me. "No wonder, it was Alan all along. I've phoned the police and they told me to leave the rest to them. Alan and his father are off to prison." "I know and I'm sorry, you do realise you were putting yourself at great risk investigating Cici's murder, don't you?" Lez said sympatheticaly. "You sound like the policeman. I hope nothing else like this ever happens to me again". "Me too," said Lez. "It didn't turn out a planned." "How come?" Lez asked. "The Hitman is still at large and, after all, The Hitman is the killer. I wonder who's next on the his list?"
Final report
If you're wondering what happened to The Hitman here goes: the police tried to track him down but The Hitman got wise and never got caught. However, he left one last card for Alan, it read 'You haven't heard the last from The Hitman'. Alan is now seeing a psychiatrist and Sal is fine. As for the rest of Savie High School, they haven't a clue what's happened......... yet.
The follow up story of this, entitled 'The Hitman returns' will be available soon.
