Driftwood wall hanging sculptures

Beach cleaning trips have been successfully combined with the gathering of driftwood to create these original sculptures. These differ from my previous sculptures in that they are wall hangings rather than free-standing.

This sculpture is of Frankie the Frugaldom pony with his distinctive markings.

The leaping horse was the first of the wall hanging driftwood sculptures, photographed here in the covered area beside the Ecoarts studio.

A cormorant in the classic pose. Some of the driftwood was already blackened so a thin protective coat of wood stain was sufficient to colour and protect the sculpture.
