Foals inspire driftwood sculptures

The first two creations from the Ecoarts studio in 2020 were inspired by the arrival of four rescued foals at the Frugaldom project. They have a lovely nature and, once settled into their new home, began to play with great enthusiasm.

These sculptures are smaller than many of my previous works, standing around 2ft in height. They are made from driftwood, including the bases which were salvaged and sanded down to reveal a natural grain.

The second foal sculpture was also influenced by the much larger Frugaldom rearing horse. Both sculptures have been treated but are more suited to being kept indoors than my previous driftwood pieces. Contact me directly for commission details at hrmayson@aol.com.
