Have you ever wondered what it must be like to be so single-minded and focussed on your goals that you actually achieve them all, one by one, consistently? Or do you go about things in a half-baked manner wondering where all your time has gone, forgetting half of what you should have done?
March 2019 marks 20 years since the set-up of our original Scottish Writers group, many of whose members helped create and publish 'Lanarkshire News' (Scotland's first completely online newspaper), 'Now You Know' (in print and online), and 'Paranoid Times' (in print and online). Although we have moved away from printing newspapers, our writing and publishing projects continue. This year, we begin the barn blogging project to run alongside Ecoarts, at Frugaldom.
Recently, I have been mulling over the problem of how to fit my writing into busy days spent at Frugaldom and I came to the conclusion that the best solution was to create a quiet space where I can write, in between planting, pony care and project development, at the barn. This is my first post detailing my journey to becoming a barn blogger.
Mothering Sunday in the UK is 31st March 2019, the same date the clocks spring forward into British summertime. Mother's Day gifts can include anything from home grown flowers to handmade cards and freshly baked goods but if you would prefer to splash out a bit, there are plenty of other options. My suggestion for this year is a weekend break for mum.
Frugaldom is located approximately 10 miles from Newton Stewart, less than a mile from the Three Lochs Holiday Park, where we offer self-catering caravan accommodation for guests attending any of our events.
