Martin County Fire Rescue Collective Bargaining Agreement

Martin County is currently in collective bargaining with IAFF. The current collective agreement with IAFF expires on September 30, 2020. The county negotiation management team is requesting an executive meeting to discuss working negotiations. The Board of County Commissioners has a limited exception under Section 447.605 of the Florida By-Laws, which allows the board of directors to meet at an executive meeting to discuss collective bargaining matters. Martin County is currently in collective bargaining with martin County Firefighters Association Local 2959, IAFF (“IAFF”) for the renewal of its collective agreement. The county negotiation management team is requesting an executive meeting to discuss working negotiations with IAFF.
